Winemakers Dinner with Mike Dalrymple

We're very pleased to announce that we'll be hosting an intimate winemakers
dinner with Mike Dalrymple at the Roti restaurant in the Roppongi Piramide
building on Wednesday, September 2.

Mike trained at UC Davis but then spent a year at Chateau Lafite and five
years as assistant winemaker at Ridge before setting up his own label, so he
brings a particularly sophisticated approach to Zinfandel, one of the
greatest, and certainly most exuberant, of all the red wine grapes grown in
California.

We'll start with our favorite bubbly from "J", then sit down for dinner with
Mike. During the evening we'll taste all of Dashe's current lineup before
comparing his flagship Dry Creek Zin to some 15 and 16 year-old examples
from our library, and then finishing up with his rare Late Harvest Zin
(recently featured by-the-glass at Michelin two-star L'Atelier Robuchon).
