Winery list for Rivesaltes

The Rivesaltes appellation is classified into 4 groups: Grenat, Tuilé, Ambré and Hors d’âge for red wines made from Grenache Noir, Gris and Blanc as well as Macabeu and Malvoisie varietals.

The Rivesaltes Grenats are wines made from Grenache Noir with fresh notes of red and black berries.

The red-colored Rivesaltes Tuilés have aromas of candied fruit and are aged in open air for two years.

The Rivesaltes Ambrés employ the same process, but with white varietals such as Rolle or Vermentino. This wine has a golden color with a nose of honey, hazelnut, almond and nutshell.

The “Hors d’âges” are Rivesaltes Ambrés and Tuilés that are aged for more than 5 years. Their aromas evolve toward notes of orange peel and ginger.

Reds: Grenache and Macabeu
Whites: Rolle or Vermentino
