Winery list for Cotes du Roussillon

The Cotes de Roussillon AOC benefits from a Mediterranean climate, highlighted by the Tramontane which favors the ripening of the grapes and affords them perfectly disease-free environment.

For the red wines, Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Macabeu varietals are primarily used. These wines are generally full-bodied and characterized by dark and red berries with spicy notes.

The rosés, crafted by juicing these same varietals, have a beautiful and lively pink tint and their aromas evoke red berries that are full of freshness.

The whites, made from Grenache, Macabeu, Vermentino, Roussanne and Marsanne, pair a great freshness and an aromatic finesse with a harmonious structure and a supple texture.

The Côtes du Roussillon AOC, with 5,000 hectares, is the largest AOC in the region.

Dominant varietals:
Reds: Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah
Whites: Marsanne, Rolle ou Vermentino and Roussanne
